In an interview with TV Guide, Katee Sackoff, the actress who played Starbuck in Battlestar Galactica, has said that she will not be appearing on the show as she is “done with that world.” She gave the premier episode praise, however, saying that the colors and textures reminded her of BSG.
Syfy is getting ready for the premier of the soon to be smash hit, Caprica. Amazon.com has put up a preorder page for the Caprica soundtrack. It will be released 6/16/09 under La-La Land Records. The Caprica soundtrack can be found to preorder in The Caprica Times Amazon Store along with the Caprica DVD and other Caprica related items.

Too much religion. Too little action. Too many plot holes. We already know how it ends. These have been the prevailing criticisms the Caprica pilot has had to withstand before it ever reached viewers. This was to be expected as the core of those interested in Caprica come from being fans of Battlestar Galactica – the story of a space chase of robots vs. humans. Has it escaped these shortcomings or has Ron Moore simply produced more of what devotees have shunned as the worst of BSG?
The Caprica Pilot has leaked online via torrent. This is the 2 hour movie set to be released on DVD on April 21 in the US.
