In fact, Caprica’s fame has reached an Earth friend of ours, The New York Times. The article goes into depth about the old car models used on Caprica and how they add ambience to the show. These cars have been prominent in the life of Amanda Graystone, first whisking her away to saftey after her announcement at the memorial ceremony and later bringing her in harms way during a ride home from Baxter Sarno’s talk show. The actress who plays Amanda, Paula Malcomson, was recently interviewed by tvstar.com. During the interview she talks about how playing a character on Caprica relates to real life.
