Husbands the Series is a bold web comedy written and produced by the visionary Caprica producer, Jane Espenson. Throwing back the curtains on life in a gay marriage, Husbands is sure to tickle your fancy and keep you laughing. The series also features another Caprica alum, the one and only Alessandra Torresani (Zoe Graystone) alongside stars Brad Bell (aka Cheeks) and Sean Hemeon. Husbands is also produced by the exceptionally talented Jeff Greenstein of Desperate Housewives and Will & Grace.
In order to produce a second season of Husbands, they’ve started a Kickstarter campaign. On the Husbands Kickstarter Campaign page, fans can pledge $1 or more in return for some sweet swag, including a Husbands Season 1 DVD, autographed merch, dinner with Jane & Brad, and a set visit.
The great news is that in its first day, the Husbands team has reached half of their goal! But there’s still work to be done, so pledge away. Adore this show – it’s a brilliant co-creation by Jane & Brad Bell (aka Cheeks) – they’ve written characters that delight, endear and entertain. Produced by Jane, Brad and Jeff – “Husbands” comes to its audience looking sleek, stylish and as well produced as any comedy show on television.
