Syfy Video’s Caprica Page has added the trailer from Comic Con as well as a clip of the panel:

UnthinkableDevices has posted a video of their interview with Ron Moore and Esai Morales at the MCM London Expo. The topics begin with Battlestar Galactica and swing over to a few questions about Caprica.

The London MCM is coming Saturday and Sunday, 29-30 May. In attendance will be Ron Moore, creator and Executive Producer of Caprica as well as Esai Morales who portrays Joseph Adama. Both guests will be there both days and will be part of a panel. E-Tickets are currently available or General Entry Tickets and Early Entry Tickets can be purchased at the door on the day of the events.

Ron Moore sure knows how to confuse us. In a recent interview with Den of Geek, he said the following about “Daniel” who is very briefly mentioned in Battlestar Galactica:

Is there a connection between the Daniel mentioned toward the end of Galactica and Daniel Graystone?

No, that was a complete coincidence of name. I didn’t realise how much people would glom onto that coincidence and start to read all kinds of things into it. There’s really nothing there.

So that’s the latest update on Daniel Graystone’s status. However, it directly conflicts with another statement that Ron Moore made asserting that “Daniel” was in Caprica. As The Caprica Times previously reported, in the podcast for Battlestar Galactica’s “No Exit” at the 31:03 mark Ron Moore exclaims,

“And Daniel has signifigance in Caprica as well.”

As executive producer, we’ll trust that Ron Moore knows what he’s talking about, however The Caprica Times is a bit skeptical as to what is really going on. Do the worlds of Caprica have room for another Daniel?

Sunday brings more Caprica tid-bits since the mid-season finale has aired:

• The LA Times reports on a video the AP did with David Eike and Ron Moore discussing the next half of Season 1 of Caprica.
• MediaBlvd Magazine transcribes an interview with Magda Apanowicz about Lacy and the future of her character.
• TV Guide posts a video interview with Alessandra Toressani asking about what we’ll be seeing of Zoe.
• Out.com interviews Sasha Roiz about Sam Adama and his future in the series.
• First spotted by The Caprica Times on Caprica City (a German fan site), many Czec fan sites are listing the episode titles for the next half of the season. This information conflicts slightly with a previous AOL interview with Esai Morales in which he states that one of the episodes this season is titled “Adamarama”. The list is as follows:

Airlock Alpha reports a rumor that renewal of Caprica for a 2nd season is very close to being approved. But if that isn’t comforting enough, Mark Stern, Syfy’s executive vice president of original programming, said that they are in talks with Caprica’s creator, Ron Moore, about creating a second Battlestar Galactica spin-off. Either way we’re sure to see some great programming from Syfy in the coming seasons.
